César Chávez Day

César Chávez Day is an annual day of celebration and call to action at the George Washington University hosted by the Multicultural Student Services Center, Cisneros Hispanic Institute, RGSLL Department/ Spanish Program, the Office of Diversity, Equity and Community Engagement, and Honey W. Nashman Center for Civic Engagement and Public Service.

On César Chávez Day, we educate the greater George Washington community on the life and works of César Chávez, advocate for social justice issues that still affect our society and, most of all, celebrate the service and commitment to reform that César Chávez embodied every day of his life.
