About Campaigning For Change

Is there a change you want to see? A community action project you want to promote?

Campaigning for Change (C4C) is an opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students to organize and build a grassroots campaign in the DC area. The grant is a new initiative to honor the life and legacy of César Chavez through actionable commitments to community advocacy.

Students who apply for Campaigning For Change will have the opportunity to be trained based on Cesar Chavez's 10 core values. These workshops, led by GW faculty members and community partners, will cover topics like grassroots engagement, campaign design, and coalition building. After which, students have the opportunity to develop a grassroots community action plan, and compete to receive a grant of from the to implement their plan.

The C4C grant makes it possible for GW students to engage their communities in a sustainable way and help build towards a more equitable and innovative world.
