Convocation and Welcome Day of Service is the official welcome event for the incoming class. President LeBlanc, Provost Maltzman, faculty, staff and student leaders join the incoming class at the Smith Center and then throughout the District of Columbia in a day filled with engaging speakers, direct service projects, reflection and fun.

Last year, over 2,200 students, faculty, and staff participated in the event. Read more about last year's event on GW Today or check out the video.

This year's Convocation and Welcome Day of Service is Saturday, August 24, 2019
