Will Brummett serves as the Program Manager for Co-Curricular Service. He manages community service partnerships between GW students and community organizations, including engageDC and GW SMARTDC as well as pre-semester community engagement programs. Will brings over 7 years of experience working in higher education, nonprofits, and activist organizations. Prior to GW, Will worked as the Program Coordinator for Community Service Initiatives at Brandeis University where we started the Rich/Collins Community Leadership and Impact Fellowship program. He is passionate about creating reciprocal and authentic relationships, turning inspiring ideas into community-led actions, and embodying sustainable approaches to social change and diversity, equity, and inclusion work that prevent burnout. Will earned his bachelor’s degree in religious studies from Elon University and his master’s degree in Applied Social Justice from Carson-Newman University.  When not at work, you can find Will drinking coffee and discussing political podcasts, organizing other men to join feminist and anti-racism efforts, or watching reruns of The Office with his wife, Grace.
