Community Engagement Consulting (CEC) guides students in developing greater civic consciousness through collaboration with business and civic leaders, to create innovative strategies that lead to lasting impacts on local organizations.

Community Engagement Consulting was founded in 2017 by a group of GW students who had both a passion for service and a desire to utilize their core business skills. In the fall of 2017, CEC was launched with three consultants serving one partner site. Today, CEC serves four DC-area clients with a team of ten, including a professional advisor.
CEC offers pro-bono services in accounting & finance, board development & fundraising, change management & transformations, operations management, and social enterprise.
