Impactful service partnerships are meaningful, mutually beneficial and incorporate critical reflection and civic development. Our programs, staff and student leaders are dedicated to building these partnerships through long-term service opportunities.

engageDC is a capacity building and service leadership program that connects GW students with direct and indirect service opportunities in D.C. Semester-long commitment required.


GW SMARTDC is committed to providing quality tutoring for K-8 children in need. Semester-long commitment required.


Join Jumpstart to help give kids 3-5 in the Washington, DC community a boost so they are ready to start kindergarten. Year-long commitment required.

District Connections

Each month the Nashman Center, in partnership with Enrollment and the Student Experience hosts a community service and engagement project through District Connections. District Connections links first-year undergraduate students with the cultural and intellectual diversity that Washington, D.C. has to offer.
