Become a Civic Changemakers Intern!

 


Join our Civic Changemakers team to build your skills, and your network while you make a difference in the lives of middle school students in Washington, DC! Spend your summer working with middle school students and help them create a meaningful project that has a positive impact on their community. Through the Civic Changemaker curriculum, students will learn more about their local government, their neighborhood, and school community and will learn how to make a change! Civic Changemakers Interns will have the opportunity to talk with and hear from speakers, participate in cultural events, and meet college students from across the country. Each intern will have a mentor for the duration of the program to work on professional development, networking and leadership. Civic Changemakers is an 8-week in-person paid internship and All Washington, D.C. based interns will be required to live on GW’s campus for the 8 weeks of the program.
