Looking for a meaningful way to gain experience while making a positive impact? The Honey W. Nashman Center for Civic Engagement and Public Service at George Washington University is hiring FWS students!
Participant and tutor applications for engageDC, SMARTDC, and Math Matters will open in July.

For Federal Work-Study positions, please attach your FWS award letter from this year to demonstrate that you have been awarded FWS at GW. All offers sent out are contingent on students having a FWS award.

requirements
Positions will begin in August 2025 and end in May 2026. Federal Work-Study is required for all undergraduate positions. Graduate positions do not require Federal Work-Study. Must be a fully matriculated George Washington University student. All Nashman Center student leaders are required to be in good academic and disciplinary standing.
Please note all Leader and Lead Tutor positions are required to attend the following programs:
- Institute for Citizen Leaders - August 17 - August 19, 2025
- Welcome Day of Service - Saturday, August 23 2025
- MLK Day of Service - Monday, January 19, 2026
