Founded in 2007, Clinton Global Initiative University (CGI U) brings together more than 1,000 students to make a difference in CGI U's five focus areas: Education, Environment and Climate Change, Peace and Human Rights, Poverty Alleviation, and Public Health. University students of all levels to discuss and deepen their Commitments to Action at this annual meeting.

 

Students compete in the Commitment Maker Challenge and submit their Commitments to Action. The Commitment Maker Challenge helps turn students’ ideas into action, with training, mentorship, funding, and follow-up.

Students who have been accepted to CGI U can apply for funding from the Nashman Center to supplement travel costs to the annual meeting and/or fund their Commitments to Action.
