About GW Votes
GW has one of the most politically active student bodies in the nation. GW Votes is a nonpartisan coalition of students, faculty, and staff that promotes voter registration and participation among our students.
GW Votes is facilitated by a programming team housed in the Honey W. Nashman Center for Civic Engagement and Public Service, but is spearheaded by the GW Votes Task Force and GW Votes Student Ambassadors.
In the 2020 election, 69% of eligible GW students voted on Election Day, nearly 12% more than in 2016.

GW Votes Ambassadors are student volunteers who help with functions of campus voter engagement through efforts such as research, data analysis, marketing, outreach, tabling, and more. If you’re a student interested in getting involved, sign up to be a GW Votes Ambassador!
GW Votes Task Force is made of campus leaders and stakeholders across GW’s campus (faculty, staff, student organization leaders and representatives) who help institutionalize voting engagement across our campus and beyond.
